HOW TO APPLY
WITHOUT BUBBLES
6 STEPS · 15 MINUTES
NO SPECIAL TOOLS
THE WHOLE PROCESS IN TWO MINUTES. IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE READING, THE VIDEO IS ENOUGH.
Our stickers are cut from cast vinyl with transfer tape — once applied, only the design stays on the car, no clear background. They stick to paint, glass and smooth plastic. The best temperature is 15–25 °C, in the shade, on a dry surface. Don't apply in direct sun, in freezing weather or on a freshly washed car — droplets in the gaps make bubbles.
- Spray bottlewater + a drop of dish soap
- Cardcredit card or soft squeegee
- Clothmicrofibre, clean
- Tapemasking tape, for alignment
- Alcohol / IPAfor degreasing
-
STEP 1Clean and degrease
Wash the spot, dry it and wipe it with alcohol or isopropyl. Wax, polish and finger grease are why stickers peel after a week. Don't touch the surface after degreasing.
-
STEP 2Align and tape it down
Hold the sticker with its backing in place and set the position. Measure from the edges so it sits straight, then fix it along the top with a strip of masking tape as a hinge. Don't remove the backing yet.
-
STEP 3Remove the backing
Flip the sticker up on its hinge and slowly peel off the backing paper. The design must stay on the clear transfer tape — where it clings to the backing, press it back with the card and try again. Don't touch the adhesive.
-
STEP 4Wet it (wet method)
For larger designs, spray both the paint and the adhesive with water and a drop of dish soap. The sticker then slides, you can still reposition it and the water pushes the air out. Small slaps under 10 cm can go on dry.
-
STEP 5Smooth from the centre
Lay the sticker down and run the card from the centre to the edges, overlapping strokes, medium pressure. That pushes out both water and air. With the wet method, let it sit for 10–15 minutes so the adhesive grabs.
-
STEP 6Remove the transfer tape
Peel the transfer tape slowly, at a sharp angle almost flat along the paint, not straight up. If part of the design lifts, lay the tape back down, press and try again. Prick any remaining bubbles with a pin and push them out. Done.
What survives the car wash
Cast vinyl on paint survives a regular car wash and a pressure washer — just for the first 72 hours let the adhesive cure: no washing, no waxing, no car wash. Don't aim a pressure washer straight at the sticker's edge from under 30 cm. Brush washes wear down any print over time; touchless ones are fine.
Glass, plastic, matte paint
On glass, apply only mirror-cut designs (marked in the description) from the inside; everything else goes on the outside. Textured plastic (bumpers, trim) won't hold a sticker — find a smooth surface. Matte and satin paint: the sticker will stick, but removing it may leave a glossier shadow.
How to remove it without traces
Warm it with a hair dryer (not a heat gun), lift a corner with your nail and peel slowly at a sharp angle. Adhesive residue comes off with alcohol or adhesive remover, then polish the spot. Nothing stays on original paint; be careful on repainted panels.
